At the FO/OV Food Bank!
When the COVID-19 pandemic increased food insecurity in the Fair Oaks-Orangevale area, FO/OV Food Bank director and Rotarian Keith Wright knew where to get help. Expanding their hours by adding distributions on Friday seemed like a good idea, and Rotarians jumped at the chance to serve. Clad in their designer masks, they learned their tasks without too much difficulty and took over the new Friday distribution hours through the end of summer. At New Life Church
Having a weekend distribution day seemed logical, and the New Life Community Church was willing to donate the space once a month, so why not? So that Rotary crew is doing their thing again on one Saturday a month through the summer.
