A New Banner for All Our Banners!
With well over a hundred Rotary club banners, collected during our members travels, sitting in storage, it was time to hang them on the wall! And who made the display for us?
Vicki Walter!
Beth recognized the work Vicki Walter and Alice Rowe contributed in creating our newest wall hanging. With over 100 flags from six continents tucked away in the club filing cabinet, the addition of this new banner allows the flags of 25 Rotary Clubs from 24 countries to hang on display at our meetings.
Vicki hand made the banner (our largest yet) and Alice added the hanging bar and glued each of the flags selected into position.
Beth acknowledged Vicki's work with a bottle of champagne, perhaps on the hope that she would craft additional banners for the many club banners still sitting in our filing system?
